Belgian beech, oak and metal

A bookcase composed with the artist Rikkert Paauw, made for ForeSt, the exhibition that marked the opening of the CORPUS bookshop in Brussels. Beech from the Forêt de Soignes meets oak and metal, and turned elements stand beside raw slabs, so that each shelf reads as a small sculpture. A piece about two slow resources, the tree and the written word.
