Bespoke desk table

Designed to showcase the unique patterns of old-growth beech wood (Fagus sylvatica), this desk table was made out of two large slabs of the same 250-year old tree. The slabs were positioned to create a mirror effect that runs in a continuous line through the table’s legs and top. The project features elaborate joinery in the form of wooden dove-tail inserts. The outer edges of the table feature the natural organic shape of the tree.
